InJ14 (in it’s December 2008 issue) the magazine asked Cody Linley “why guys act differently in front of their friends?

His reasoning is simple.

“If a guy acts all lovely dovey in front of his friends, he’ll get teased for it big time. He just has to wait until it’s the two if you.”

I guess that it makes since, unless his friends are also dating. We’ll . . . I guess they still would tease each other.

Cody’s Kissing Catastrophe

“One of my friends was like, ‘Spell the alphabet with you tongue. Make an A and then a B.’ That’s a bad idea. That’s just really weird,” Cody told J14 (Demember 2008 issue).

Honestly… Yes. That is a bad idea. Anyway, I am not sure if I have any friends that can roll their tongues in an A and B.

No More Zits!

In the December issue of J-14(2008) Cody sets down to the dreaded subject….. Zits

“Nobody likes acne at all. Just last year I struggled with acne myself. “It is something that most teens go through. You wake up, You look at your skin and you’re like, ‘I hate that.’ I have experienced that, I tried everything over the counter, but nothing was working, and I wanted to get my skin clear. I was very dramatic about it. You’re your own worst enemy because when you look in the mirror, it looks so bad to you, but people don’t see it as badly as you do.”

Linley continues to talk to J14, “A lot of people think acne will fad. But if it doesn’t get treated, it can cause permanent damage. Get professional advice. If your skin improves, you confidence will too.”

I am sad to say that Cody Linley was kicked off this week. I have to admit that I am a little shocked. I was looking forward to the finals, where he would have gone up against Derek (Julianne’s brother) and Brook Burke.

Cody wanted to thank his fans’ support before his last dance with Julianne.

“The fans who kept me in this, the fan support that I feel when I go out,” Linley said,”and to know that maybe my dance can inspire someone to be happy or to want to dance or to bring entertainment to one person is just amazing.”

Listening to his speech brought tears to my eyes.

Thank you all for voting for him. But it is not over yet with Dancing with the Stars. Even though Cody Linley is not still on, I will still be voting. My votes are now going to Brook Burke and Derek Hough.

Halloween Diss

According to the October/ November 2008 Issue of Twist magazine, Cody Linley got shot down by a girl he was crushing on.

“When I was 13, I went trick-or-treating with a girl I was crushing on, but she had a boyfriend! I was dressed as a professional basketball play, and she went as a beautiful witch, and I knew it was my chance to get her to like me. I tried to win her over by being really nice to her like, ‘Oh, take some of my candy. You can have it all!’”

“It didn’t work out. I pretty much got shut down! But it was cool because I had a good time. And I still had my candy to fall back on!”

Cody has a positive outlook on things.

Cody danced the fox-trot and the mambo, where Cody got to dance by himself., which was funny. He received 48/60.

What Cody Thinks About Julianne

Cody Linley sat down with J-14 (Demeter 2008 issue) about talked about what he thought of Julianne.

“Julianne’s amazing and super- talented. She’s a great dancer and a great teacher. I am very lucky to have her as my partner. I’m so happy. Not to mention she’s very cute and young,” said Cody.

Cody is right. Julianne is a wonderful dancer and teacher. But Cody, I would watch saying how cute she is. I think there could be a great chance that Derek is protective of his baby sister.

I was extremely excited for Julianne to be his dance partner. I could not picture him with anyone else.

“I was super-excited. But I didn’t act like that in front of her. I didn’t want to freak her out. She was my favorite dancer. When I met the Dancing With The Stars producers and we talked about me being on the show, I made sure that they knew that Julianne was my favorite.”

Awwwwww. How sweet.

According to www.dallasnews.com, Cody Linley been working on a few projects. The first one is an independent film, Forget Me Not, and he have been working on Word of Promise Next Generation, with Emily Osment and Corbin Bleu. Word of Promise Next Generation is an audio version of the Bible, where Cody plays Jesus.

According to DARLA ATLAS / Special Contributor to The Dallas Morning News , Cody Linley always has his shirt off.

“I’m always walking around with my shirt off,” says Cody. “Warren [Sapp] is like, ‘Uh-uh, you can’t be coming into the kitchen with your shirt off. It ain’t sanitary.’ ”

Cody continues, “I have four brothers, so I’m just used to that. I feel comfortable walking around half-naked, I guess,” Linley says with a laugh.

I do not see the problem in what Cody does. There are many guys out there that take their shirts off when it is hot.

The talented Cody Linley will be having is, I believe, 19^th Birthday on November 20^th. His birthday is just three days before Miley Cyrus’ Sweet 16 Birthday.

Hough is Better

According to Jennifer Anderson, writer for www.kbsradio.ca, and people magazine, Julianne Hough is doing better. She is scheduled to come back to the show on November 17th episode. She will sing her new single “My Hallelujah Song” on the results’ show.

The Issue of People magazine will be on sale November 17th.

I Thought He Did Great!

This week Cody Linley found himself in the bottom two along with Susan Lucci. Luckily for Cody’s fan he made it to the next round.

I was not shocked to see Linley in the bottom to because the judges and I disagreed. That is always a good give away. I thought he was great, and they did not think so as much as I did. Cody with the combined scores of the group dance and the couple’s dance, he got 42 out of 60.

Next week the celebrities will be dancing by themselves? Now how is that going to work with ballroom dancing? Possible Hip-Hop?

Despite Julianne not feeling good, she pulled herself together and was able to pull off the samba with her partner Cody Linley. You could tell that Julianne was in pain when she was not dancing, but I can say I feel her pain - - and it Hurts!

Endometriosis is a common health problem with women. The cause of Endometriosis is still unknown, but there are theories.

But Cody said on Tuesday, “Her operation went as planned and she’s at home and resting. That’s good news.”

I thought that they did a great job dancing considering everything. So I was happy to hear Carrie Ann say ”the most intense samba I’ve ever seen.”

The couple score was 23 out of 30.

The great news is that Cody will be back next week, but Cody will be dancing with Edyta Sliwinska, who had partner to former contestant Ted McGinley, until Julianne comes back.

“Edyta’s an amazing dancer and I’m looking forward to learning a new dance from a great dancer,” Cody said.

Cody and Edyta will be dancing the Viennese Waltz.

Good Luck to Cody and Edyta, and to Julianne get better soon.

Cody Linley and Julianne Hough had to dance the jitterbug, but they were not the only ones dancing the jitterbug. Julianne’s older brother Derek and his partner Brooke Burke also had the same style dance.

While Derek and Broke have been at the top of the leader boards, they scored 29 out of 30, Cody and Julianne came close to tying, with a 28 out of 30.

Both dances were wonderful and very entertaining. I could not help but smile when they danced.

Cody had his hair slicked back, and Julianne was wearing a “I Love Lucy” wig.

I can not wait to see what happens to night. I hope they all go through, and then we can see them dance next week.

Could this be the first time that Derek and Julianne will be in the top two. They are great dancers and they both have great partners. Cody has become a great dancer.

Cody Is Safe

Cody Linley is moving on with Dancing With The Stars. He was found safe. When watching the show they look like the are taking the stress more than I do. It is always a releif when they are safe.

So watch him next week on Monday, and Vote… Vote for him.

Julianne Hough Was Sent to the Hospital

According to www.tvguide.com, Cody Linley’s dance partner, Julianne Hough, was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for stomach pains after Tuesday evening’s broadcast.

During the show Julianne was acting fine, but Julianne is a trooper.

She was having stomach cramps that had gotten worse through out the day.

“The doctors thought it was best to have them checked out,” her rep explained, adding that Hough did not collapse on set, contrary to Internet reports.

They have not said what they doctors found out. Hopefully she is back home feeling better.

Phone Calls

According to the August 2008 Issue of “J-14″ Magazine, the longest call that Cody Linley has been on had lasted until dawn.

“It started at like 9 p.m. and went until 5 a.m,” Cody told “J-14.”

That would be a great way to get to know someone. I do not think that I have ever been on the phone that long.

“We talked about the most random things. Everything from what kind of ice cream we liked to deep conversation.”

There would be one big problem. Staying awake. Cody Linley and the girl that he was talking to actually fell asleep on each other.

“Toward the end, I actually fell asleep in the middle of her talking, and she fell asleep in the middle of me talking,” Linley said. “We laughed about it the next morning because for the last five minutes, we weren’t making any sense at all.”

According to Dave Eminian, writer for www.pjstar.com, Cody Linley will be he Jan. 31 Rivermen game. There he will be signing autographs. Jeanette McCurdy, who plays “Sam” on Nickelodeon’s “iCarly” show will also be there.

Cody’s Dance Movies

“It’s really tough,” Cody said about having to work on the dance seven hours a day. “The hardest part is the frustration of knowing exactly what your body is supposed to do, but not being able to get your body to get that movement. It’s frustrating to me, but I know it’s more frustrating for Julianne because she can do it so easily,” Linley tells Kelsey McNeal, writer for http://tvwatch.people.com.

But it is worth it in the end. Cody has been doing great on Dancing With The Stars . This week was no exception. He will be back next week. Is it just me or is he getting better at dancing.

Why Guys Don’t Dance

Cody Linley explains to Twist Magazine (August 2008 Issue) why guys do not dance.

“It’s because boys want to look cool.”

I think I am understanding. Boys do not want to look uncool so they do not dance. To me they are missing out.

Cody continues, “I bonded with Nick Jonas at the DC Games party because everyone was dancing and I said, ‘Yeah, I can’t dance.’ And he said, ‘I know, me neither!’ We were like, ‘There’s lots of people here and everyone’s going to be watching’”

Come on guys. Get over it. Get out on the dance floor. People are not staring at you, and for Cody . . . He can not use the excuse anymore.

According to www.aceshowbiz.com, Cody Linley has gotten a “yes” for coming on his show to support him. Miley said that to Cody and his dance partner Julianne, while they were at Miley’s party celebrating her birthday.

On the show on money, I think that Cody and Julianne did a great job on the “Jive,” but the judges half way disagreed with me. Each of the judges gave Cody a “7,” which made his total 21.

Cody did say that his fan base was getting larger. To add to his normal fans, and much older women have became a fan of his. I guess I am considered one of his older fans.

Is Selena Falling for Cody Linley

According FOX Pop Tarts’ Hollie McKay. The Wizard star, Selena Gomez has been seen recently sneaking around to watch Cody Linley on Dancing with the Stars.

Selena and Cody were “pretty flirty and playful” after Cody’s dancing performance. Gomez even stayed around to listen to Cody play the guitar for his fans.

There has been no comment from either Cody Linley or Selena Gomez.

He Did It

Cody Linley has served another week of Dancing With The Stars. I have to admit that during most of the show I was worried. I keep repeating Cody, hopping that they would call his name soon.

Yes, no one went home this week, but he was still not with the lowest score.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show

“Dancing With the Stars” contestants Cody Linley and Julianne Hough will be on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on October 13.

Hot! Hot! Hot! That is what I say about Cody Linley and Julianne Hough performance this week on Dancing With The Stars. The couple danced the Rumba to, Leona Lewis’s song, Bleeding Love.The three judges gave him 7 each, which totaled 21. I do have to admit that with the scoring the judges were harsh. The dancers only had four days to learn their dance, and most of them did well.

But, before they danced Cody realized a few problems. One was that he was shorter than contestant Warren Sapp, even when Linley decided to stand on a ladder.

Cody decided to give this one bit of information to all of his female fans, “If a girl wants to win my heart. She brings me like a Twinkie and chicken.”

According to www.celebrity-gossip.net, Cody Linley is starting to feel like dancing is getting easier.

“I am getting less nervous with each dance. The first night I was so nervous because I had never danced in front of that many people in my life. The second was the hardest dance and the third one is starting to get easier. It’s really fun, and I’m having a great time in this competition. I’m having fun with it.”

You can tell, with Cody’s great since of humor, that he is having fun.

I am sure that I read, and wrote on, that Miley Cyrus would be at the filming of “Dancing With The Stars” to show her support for her co-star Cody Linley. I have been looking for Miley in the audience every show, and have not seen her. I guess there is a reason.

“I talked to Miley the other day and said, ‘Hey, homey, I’m going to your birthday party, so you need to come see me on Dancing with the Stars!’” Linley told Usmagazine.com. “She is super busy,” he added, “but she is definitely planning on coming to see me!”

Now which Birthday would that be? The one that Disney has planned or her real birthday or another one?

Great news. If you do not know, Cody has made it to the next round of Dancing With The Stars. I cannot wait to see what type of dance Cody and his partner are doing, and to what song.

Even though Julianne’s older brother, Derek and his dance partner, Brooke Burke, are at the top, Cody is not fair behind him.

This week they couples had to learn two dances. I cannot wait to see what next week will bring us.

Julianne is Mothering Cody Linley

According to Paulene Hinds, writer for www.realitytvmagazine.com, Julianne Hough was happy to find out that Cody Linley was her dance partner. Normally, Julianne is the youngest when it comes to her dance partners on “Dancing With The Stars.” This time she is the older partner.

“When I first found out that Cody was my partner, I was like–ya, I am finally the older women, cause I have always been the youngest.”

Hough said that with the older contestants that she has worried with, she had to show them that she is the “boss,” but with Cody it is different. She has found herself “pampering and mothering him during rehearsals.” There is nothing wrong about that.

Even though Linley is the youngest ever on the show, he feels that he is “man enough” to handle it. “I am going to bring the masculine nature inside here (himself) out.”

Cody has answered my question about the other co-stars being there to cheer him on, “Yes she is–Miley and Billy Ray and everyone on the cast is going to come out to support me,” Linley told ET.

I cannot wait to watch the show. Julianne and Cody will do a great job.

Is Cody Linley Starting to Feel Some pressure?

According to www.people.com, Hannah Montana actor, Cody Linley, is starting to feel the pressure.

“A lot of people are saying, ‘You’ve got the best partner so you better step up your game!’” says Linley, 18, referring to dancing partner Julianne Hough. “It’s going to be so much fun and I lucked out getting Julianne as my partner.”

Cody did luck out by getting Julianne as a dance partner. She is one of the best dancers on the show.

Billy Ray Cyrus even agrees and says that Cody will, “be better at [the competition] than me and you’ve got Julianne as your partner! Kid, you’re going to do great.”

Cody and Julianne have been practicing for about a month. Cody does admit that it is not easy, and it has been hard on his body.

“The first couple of weeks I got really sore…in parts of my body that I never knew had muscles!” Linley said. “Like the inside of my legs? I never expected that to hurt.”

Many of the past celebrity dancers had also admitted it, but it is a great workout.

Julianne also got hurt this time around, she slipped on the driving and she hurt her ankle and knee. “I walk around in heels and dance in heels all day and you put me in flip flops and I tear up my foot!” said Hough. “[I] just put some bandages on it…I’m a trooper!”

Not only will Miley Cyrus be there supporting him, but so will Emily Osment. Hopefully there will be more of his co-stars that will be there supporting him also.
