Cody Loves Hockey

It seems that Cody Linley makes a lot of personal appearances at hockey games. I started to wonder if he was a fan of the game. According to Lorilee Craker, who is a writer for The Grand Rapids Press, “I love hockey!” he said, “I played for three years, from when I was 10 to when I was 13. And my stepdad’s dad, Barry Sullivan, played in the NHL for the Detroit Red Wings.” My question is finally answered, but for him to have played hockey, I would not have thought of that.
Cody is lucky. There is no way that his brothers would let him get a big head from his fame, “My stepbrother, Scott, and I are three months apart, and we’ve been brothers since we were 2. He’s also my best friend,” Linley said. “My brothers make sure I am a normal person. They tell me all the time that if the girls running after me really knew what a geek I was, they would never chase me!”
Now that would keep anyone down to earth. I have to admit that I am also a geek or I have my geeky moments. We all have them at some time in our life, but many do not want to admit it.
