Just Jared jr, http://justjaredjr.buzznet.com, sat down with Cody Linely and asked him some questions. These are taken from the interview.

On writing new music: “I’ve written over 50 solid songs, and right now I’m just in the process of narrowing them down and deciding what I want to release. I take being an artist seriously, and I don’t want to release anything prematurely. I’m still doing the Ro and Co show with my friend Roshon [Fegan]. We haven’t released anything lately but yes, music is a huge part of my life. Songs that I’ve written all over the world this year will definitely be coming out, and I want to produce it with some of my close friends like Aaron Carter and some other producers. I’m just really trying to find a way to do it independently because I want to bring my true funk sound, and that would be a kind of acoustic soul mixed with funk.”

On Jake Ryan’s alter ego, Meelosh: “The character Meelosh was actually created by me. I went up to the writers room and they asked me if I could do any special accents, and it was right around the time Borat was coming out. But I had been watching The Ali G Show and (Borat impression) ‘They talk like this’ and they really liked it. That’s where I did a little improv. I don’t remember any specific lines I made up, but if you go back and watch Season 2 with the ice cream shop scenes with Miley where she’s putting ice cream in my mouth, I just started saying this random stuff. Oh my lord, it was so cold, I just started rambling. I guess Meelosh was Jake Ryan’s attempt at hiding, he’s kind of like Lola for Emily Osment’s character. He dyed his hair black and wore goofy clothes just to disguise himself.”

On his summer plans: “I’m actually going to Aruba on for the 4th of July, and then I’ll be going on a Disney cruise from the 10th to the 14th. Then I’ll be back in Los Angeles on the 15th. I’ve had an awesome year being able to travel and go on vacations throughout the year. I went down to Monterrey, Mexico about two months ago when swine flu went down and that was crazy because I was on the plane when everyone was wearing masks and I was afraid I wasn’t going to get back into America for a second.”

Jake Ryan is back again. Well again after last week. Cody Linley appears as Ryan in an episode called He Could Be The One.”

According to http://justjaredjr.buzznet.com, the episode is about “Miley repeatedly tries but fails to gently tell Robby (Billy Ray Cyrus) that she’s dating Jake Ryan (Linley) again. Soon, her dad winds up believing she’s trying to hide something from him. Now, to make Robby thankful for Jake, Miley pretends to date his bad boy band mate Jesse (Drew Roy) but gets in over her head so it’s up to Robby to help her listen to her heart.”

J-14 (May/June 2009 Issue) sat down to talk to Cody Linley’s mother, Cathy Sullivan and talked about Cody giving Michael Jackson a run for his money??? Or maybe not.

“You know that glove that Michael Jackson wore? Cody had that glove! It was cute! He was different that way - - like wear one glove. And he’d wear that glove out and people would be like, ‘Oh my God, he got his glove on!”

I am sure that Cody look adorable with that glove on, but would he feel embarrassed by his mom spilling it all?

Cody also stopped by The Suite Life on Deck’s Debby Ryan’s Sweet 16 birthday party, on May 17.

According to Amy Odell, writer for http://nymag.com, Cody Linley will be in new ads for juniors line Op. With Cody there is going to be Solange Knowles, AnnaLynne McCord, Sophia Bush, Joel Madden, Brody Jenner and Bow Wow.

I can not wait to see the new ads. Way to go Cody and the rest of the group.

Interview With Cody Linley

He updates his fans on what he is doing.

In the February 2009 issue of Pop Star magazine, Cody Linley told the magazine what the nicest thing that he has done for someone on Valentines Day.

“I cooked chicken and macaroni and cheese for this girl and then we went out to the park. We just had a fun time just goofing around and going out together. Honestly, the one thing I would love for a girl to do for me is the same, cook for me. I love food. That’s why I did it for her because I thought, “What’s the one thing I would love the most?’ and I’m like, ‘well, I know she’ll like the chicken because it’s real good!’ And it was actually pretty amazing - - I’m not gonnna lie!”

One March 4, Cody Linley played an exciting game of basketball against the staff of at El Monte High School in El Monte, Calif, according to http://justjaredjr.buzznet.com.

Cody is apart of this years Hollywood Knights, which is a celebrity basketball team that raises money for many different charities around the world.

The Hollywood Knights won the game against the staff of the school. It was a close game - - 69 to 62. The staff at El Monte High School put up a fight until the end. They should be proud.

Cody Linley sat down with the March 2009 Issue of M Magazine and talked about what he wish he knew when he was younger.

“Not to worry about what people think. I use to be self-conscious how I looked to others–I really hated my teeth! But now I’m OK with being myself, although I’m so glad I got braces!”

I have always been self-conscious about myself and wondered how I looked to others. I still have that problem, but other people never had or have overcome it, so they do not have to struggle with it all their lifes.
